Jonathan has always been curious. That curiosity led him to various career paths early on as his passion for history sent him on a course to become a history teacher. Shortly after arriving at college emerged a desire to create things, where a mentor steered him toward learning the accounting discipline.
He graduated with an Accounting degree from Ohio State University and worked various jobs as an auditor and in corporate finance before joining his father-in-law, Andy Moyer, as a financial planner. Andy and his partner, Ted Dumas, were pioneers as some of the first planners in Northeast Ohio to lean into financial plans and transparent advisory fees to build a vibrant business. That wisdom remains a constant at Tolmiros to this day.
Jonathan has relished the opportunity to mix his finance disciplines with his curiosity and creativity when designing his client’s financial framework. His ability to see things that don’t yet exist fosters his creative solutions to complex financial riddles.
It’s Jonathan’s high school sweetheart and wife, Julie, who inspired much of Tolmiros’ unique mission. A CPA by trade, Julie’s hobby is Health and Wellness, studying the topic with vigor. Julie and Jonathan have two beautiful children, Hannah and Benny, and live in Hudson Ohio. They hope to someday spend some of the year in a 2nd home in Greece, enjoying the sunshine, fresh food and blue sea.

Born and raised in Warren, OH, Ryan began his financial planning career in 2015 while pursuing his Masters of Business Administration degree in both Finance and International Business at Kent State University. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and is a graduate of Howland High School.
Many coaches and teachers had a positive impact on Ryan during his youth, which helped inspire him to pursue the “financial coach” role he holds now. Ryan is passionate about the negative impact financial anxiety can have on overall health. One of Tolmiros’ guiding missions is to remove financial angst from client’s lives. Ryan believes a strong financial plan is the key to unlocking true financial freedom, reducing financial related anxiety, and providing a permission structure for clients to tune out the noise of the 24-hour news cycle and maximize their one best financial life.
Ryan met the love of his life, Lauren, while working together in the financial services industry in North Canton. Lauren played soccer for Walsh University and has a passion for fitness. Ryan and Lauren have four young children. Their two daughters, Cavanaugh and Lottie, and their two sons, Bodhi and Baylor- keep them busy reading, coloring, wrestling, and building forts in their spare time.
Ryan serves on the board of the Howland Community Scholarships Foundation. He is a Cleveland and Buckeye sports fan. Ryan is an avid fisherman and has recently discovered a passion for fly fishing and fly tying. His bucket list trip is to chase Giant Trevally on the flats of the Seychelles off the East African coast.
Amanda Farmer
Director of Client Service & Onboarding
Amanda is a lifelong Trumbull County resident who began her career in the finance industry in 2008 with Dumas & Moyer. While working for Dumas & Moyer, she pursued an education at Youngstown State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science in 2012.
For the fifteen years that she has worked with our clients, Amanda’s position has been tailored to Client Service. She is currently the Director of Client Service & Onboarding while also assisting with new business and service requests.
Outside of Tolmiros, Amanda teaches competitive dance. This is something she is very passionate about and has done for 10 years. She enjoys spending time with her nieces and attending their extracurricular activities, traveling, reading, and attending shows and concerts.
Caitlin Ady
Director of Operations & Client Experience
Caitlin serves as the Director of Operations and Client Experience at Tolmiros. In this role, she oversees all aspects of client operations, ensuring timely execution and consistency across the Advisory and Hospitality Teams.
Dedicated to maintaining operational excellence, compliance, and process efficiency, Caitlin plays a vital role in delivering a seamless client experience. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Caitlin is often the welcoming presence in our offices or the friendly voice clients hear on the phone. Her commitment to supporting both clients and colleagues exemplifies the collaborative and client-focused culture at Tolmiros.
Caitlin is a proud Mahoning Valley native and Kent State University alumna, where she earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2017 and a Post-Graduate Certification in Leadership and Management in 2025. She brings over a decade of leadership and financial industry experience, including four years with Tolmiros.
Outside of work, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, their beloved fur-child, five nephews, one niece, two goddaughters, and their close family and friends. She is an avid concertgoer and book club enthusiast who also stays active through kickboxing classes.
John Bates, CFP®
Financial Planner
John started at our firm as an intern and quickly earned a full-time position upon graduating from Youngstown State in 2021. He works directly with our clients and the Lead Advisors to craft financial plans and review investments while taking a leadership role in servicing Tolmiros’ 401(k)’s and other qualified plans.
John earned a Bachelor of Business Administration, with a focus in Financial Planning and a minor in Marketing. He currently sits on the alumni board of his collegiate fraternity, Theta Chi Fraternity, as the Treasurer.
In his spare time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, Theresa and their two cats. He values his family & friends and staying active by going to the gym, playing golf and being part of summer league soccer teams.
Kathy Huston
Office Manager
Kathy has been working as an Administrative Assistant in the finance industry for over 13 years. She currently holds the position of Office Manager for Tolmiros. Kathy coordinates scheduling client reviews along with managing the internal company calendar. She is the friendly face our clients are greeted with when they enter our Howland office and the familiar voice our clients hear when they call.
Kathy is a lifelong resident of Trumbull County and currently resides in Cortland, OH alongside her husband of 39 years, Mark. They have 2 wonderful adult children, Taylor and Aaron.
Kathy and Mark are avid travelers. They have experienced some of the most beautiful countries and picturesque scenery, with Kathy’s favorite to date being Aruba. Aside from traveling, Kathy enjoys pilates, bowling, and spending time with friends and family.
Mason Glinn, CFA
Investment Research Analyst
Mason graduated from Youngstown State University in December of 2021, earning a BSBA with a major in Management and a Minor in Marketing. Since starting as an intern in the Wealth Management industry, he has committed to a career in Investment Management and has continued studies in the finance space after graduation.
With Tolmiros, Mason is growing his understanding of the investment industry by assisting the financial advisors in building investment proposals and financial plans for clients.
In his time spent outside the office, Mason loves to play golf, spend time with family, and take trips to sporting events with his brother, Landon. He also coaches Speech and Debate at his alma mater, Howland High School.

Financial Planner
Cade is a Youngstown native who graduated from Youngstown State University in 2022 with a BSBA in Finance, and then earned his MBA in 2023. During his time as a student, Cade was on the YSU Golf Team where he excelled for not only his talent but his sportsmanship. During his years on the Golf Team, he was the SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Representative as well as being part of the College Sports Communicators All District Team, which recognizes student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Prior to Cade’s current position at Tolmiros, where he works as a Financial Planner, he worked as a finance intern for 1 year in the Wealth Management sector.
Outside of work, Cade enjoys spending time with his wife, Mia, and their puppy, Oakley. He values time with family and friends, enjoys golfing, and is a devoted Cleveland sports fan.
Danielle Fraelich
Client Experience Specialist
Danielle is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. Danielle brings years of financial service experience to her role at Tolmiros Financial Design. Danielle is very passionate about building client relationships and collaborating with colleagues for success. In her off time, Danielle loves traveling, video games, and spending time with her husband, Ryan, and their children, Ethan & Ryleigh .
Casey Hawkins
Client & Community Engagement Coordinator
Casey was born and raised in Trumbull County and is a proud graduate of Kent State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. With a lifelong passion for helping others, she has built her career around forming meaningful relationships and creating positive, people-first experiences.
With a background in education, Casey has spent her professional life supporting others and fostering connection. Over the past five years, she has developed a strong passion for marketing and community engagement—an interest inspired by organizing and promoting an annual golf outing held in memory of her daughter, Giada.
As our Client & Community Engagement Coordinator, Casey works cross-functionally with the Advisory and Hospitality teams to enhance client experiences, strengthen community relationships, and support internal team engagement and celebrations.
Outside of Tolmiros, Casey lives with her husband, Matt, and their children, Sydney and Jake. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, and staying actively involved in giving back to her community.
